10 Simple Ways To Increase Your Twitter Followers

Getting a significant number of twitter followers can work as a conduit for achieving prominent recognition and marketing conquest. Further, it symbolizes your statistical volume of visibility and outreach. 10 ideas that can concretize your dream follower list are:

  1. Go for Power tweeters: You should always target the big guns of a particular arena. Interacting with eminent personalities makes you a social figure and you can easily build up your social relationships. This way you can expand your social network and others would like to listen to you. People would naturally want to follow you and pay more attention to your tweets.
  2. Knock at the right time: Use application like Tweet O’clock that can help you in knowing the best possible time for contacting a tweeter. You can get their active timeframes on your screen and it would help you in forming vital social relationships and increase your tweet count.
  3. Get your timing right: The time of tweeting can benefit you in leaps and bounds as far as your follower list is concerned. If you target the peak times wherein the rush of tweeters is maximum, you can surely make the most out of your tweets. 10:00 onwards up till 16:00 is a good time to enhance your visibility and ensure that there is a large crowd to checkout your feed. Another popular time frame for getting a good response is late night between 1-2p.m.
  4. Using applications: If you cannot manage tweeting in the active hours like 10:00-16:00 or between 1-2p.m., then you can make use of apps like Twaitter. This application lets you customize the time of your tweet and so you can make most of the feeds at the peak time.
  5. Say it Right: Be firm with your research and follow the trends. Do not just imitate a past popular tweet but try to know what people like to follow. Getting inspirations from successful people and forming a good network can help you in knowing more about the right feed.
  6. Interact positively: Interacting with your followers through some effective status updates is a prudent idea. This would definitely result in an increase in your follower listing.
  7. Become Resourceful: Become a source of discussion. Try to foster tweeting habits that initiate a discussion and make people talk about the resources you offer. Using applications like Twit-Doc would help you in uploading a resource like document, video or image across twitter.
  8. Find tweeters with similar interests: Using apps such as Twiterrel would aid you in finding people having common interests. This way your feeds would get a justified audience and you can aggrandize your follower list accordingly.
  9. Use Synchronization: Using apt apps would let you sync your tweets with Facebook activities. Thus, by adding a #FB as a suffix to your tweet, you can get more people to know about your updates.
  10. Use Hash Tags: You can categorize your feed using a hash tag. This would help to make your post visible to those people who search for the tagged keyword. Besides, you can learn about contemporary and buzzing keywords using various apps like twit-scoop.

  6. Quick question: Do you mean 1:00 to 2:00 A.M? You said late at night.

New posts on my blog are scheduled to publish that hour. Then I try to have scheduled tweets beginning around 1:30 and continuing a little more than an hour apart throughout the rest of the night and the following day.
