Those of you who are avid readers of Blazing Minds may have noticed that there has been some subtle changes, some cosmetic and some the addition of some WordPress plugins!

So why the change?

After reading the blog post “WordPress Plugin Changes and Requests” over at ExtremeJohn’s Blog I decided to make a few changes, first of all I decided to add SexyBookmarks, which I think looks nicer than the earlier social bookmark system I used to have, also started using Analytics 360 which now hooks up my Google Analytics to my WordPress dashboard so I can check out my stats from my blog.

It was an early rise this morning due to the fact that at around 8:30 the builders arrived to take down our garden wall and get ready to build a new one!

Why would we have a new wall, well the old one decided it was time to start leaning towards our next door neighbours garden and given a few more months it would of probably been sitting in their garden forming a rather funny looking rockery.

Those wonderful people over at FuelMyBlog have informed their readers, that includes me, about PAW…

partiesaroundtheworldcouk

As we all know kids love parties, so do we adults or should that be big kids, anyway PAW (Parties Around the World) is a charity site that runs via donations at parties.

The host of an upcoming birthday party can use PAW™ to ask guests to make a donation to a PAW™ charity of their child’s choice, rather than bring a present. Since donations are made through PAW™, it is fast, simple and easy to use. You can set up a dedicated party page, invite your guests, track their RSVPs (no more chasing parents) send thank you emails – and the great thing is that everyone can keep track of how much they have raised for your child’s party theme.

Anyway check out Parties Around the World for more information ;)

This weeks Saturday Six was tweeted to me by @hubi1857 with six words “mountains, deserts, lakes, islands, forests, cities” So this week I’ve made up six questions with each one using one of the words. So let’s get on with this weeks theme of Landscapes.

  1. What’s the highest mountain you have ever climbed or walked up?
  2. What is the biggest desert that you have been to?
  3. What’s the biggest lake that you have ever visited?
  4. Where is the smallest island you have ever visited?
  5. What’s the densest forest that you have ever been into?
  6. Out of all the cities that you have visited what is your favourite and why?

Ok, that’s it, thanks for taking part and I’m looking forward to everyone’s answers. Don’t forget to hit the “ReTweet” button to ReTweet this weeks Saturday Six.

Anyone using Twitter can be part of the process by tweeting me a topic, I will then pick one randomly and the chosen topic will be used and the tweeter will have a DoFollow link to their website or blog as a thank you.

If you would like to nominate a topic then simply tweet me @RemBeatZ with your nominated topic and the hash tag #Sat6

Also if you take part in the Saturday Six you can join the Saturday Six Twibe.. And don’t forget to vote for me at my interview at BlogInterviewer.
