Now sometime back, I was listed on the Twitter database Wefollow, great I thought this will help promote my Twitter to even more people!

Hmmmm, didn’t last long though, after a while I decided to change the tags so that my Twitter would be listed in a category more suited…

So following instructions on changing the tags, I proceeded to update them using the wefollow website, very easy really, until I noticed that now my Twitter had vanished completely from Wefollow, it was nowhere to be found, so I tried updating the tags again! Still nothing, very strange.

Off I went to the help that Wefollow offer on GetSatisfaction, if you can call it help!

I’ve posted countless times asking for help, even found an email on the website to contact someone for help, have I had help, have I heck! Not a thing, not one single response, it comes to something when people just ignore your cries for help!

So my advice to anyone using Wefollow, is don’t change your tags, you may disappear into the black hole of obscurity, never to be helped out of it!!!!!!

Since making this post I have now also tried contacting WeFollow via email and still nothing, so the problem has not been sorted out, what a way to run a website….

Wow isn’t it amazing how the months seem to fly by at the moment, it onl;y seems like yesterday that we were at the beginning of the month, so without further chatter here is my list of top 10 EntreCard droppers for the month of August:

It seems that since EntreCard has been taken over there has been some changes made, first of all was the announcement that the paid ads were going, woo hoo, good news there, now they have just announced that they are to update the way users receive credits, this latest change will affect those that are dropping or been dropped on.

What usually happens is when someone drops on your EntreCard you receive one EC and the dropper also receives one EC, great for both parties then, yes, up until now!

We have noticed that the total number of Entrecard credits in the system has grown rapidly. This has been due to the fact that more credits are being created than credits are leaving the system. If this inflation continues, Entrecard credits will be worth less and less. To ensure a stable credit economy and reduce the outstanding credits, Entrecard will no longer give Entrecard credits to the person receiving a drop. In other words, instead of awarding 2 credits for each drop (one to the dropper and one to the blog site owner), only 1 credit will be given to the dropper. This change will be effective September 1, 2009 and will last until further notice.

So will this affect drops on your EntreCard, maybe it will, maybe it won’t, but it will certainly affect the amount of ECs that you can earn, everytime someone drops on your EntreCard you will NOT get any credits, so from September your EC earnings will half.

I suppose only time will tell, to see how this all goes…

Now I’ve been blogging on Blazing Minds for over a year now, though I had a bit of a slow start and didn’t usually get that many comments back and my earlier blog posts where somewhat short and far between, over the past year my blogging has improved, so I would like to take the opportunity to give some blogging tips to you all on what I’ve personally learned.

1. Write informative blog posts.
   Even if they are just about what you did in the day, show that whatever you did you have a bit of knowledge about it.
2. Write as you!
   When you typing out your blog post, type it out as if you are talking to someone and write as you would talk with all you little quirks that you would normally have when talking to someone.
