You may of read a post I wrote about [intlink id="marketing-brand-blazing-minds" type="post"]branding the Blazing Minds name[/intlink] and how I have used Twitter @ Anywhere to add the Blazing Minds name on Twitter.

I have added the code to my blog for Twitter @ Anywhere by hand and though it is rather easy to do, sometimes there comes a time when you may want a little more, so along comes Twitter @ Anywhere Plus.

TwitterThis handy WordPress Plugin allows me to not only add the hover boxes, but also a Tweet Box (standard and custom), auto link of Twitter names, custom follow button and a tasty Twitter ReTweet button that opens up an on-screen overlayed Tweet Box for the ReTweet text, which can be customised as well.

And all this can be set up from your WordPress Admin panel, no coding required, you will have to get yourself a Twitter @ Anywhere API key, which is thankfully free.

So now if you want to add a little extra marketing to your blog, then by using Twitter @ Anywhere Plus you can by having your name mentioned in tweets in the “via..” link in Twitter.

If you are not to sure about editing your themes files and want an easy way to add Twitter @ Anywhere to your blog, then is certainly the WordPress Plugin to go for, simple easy and quick, what else could you ask for ;)

Yes, I did this just the other day and it is a great way to integrate Twitter unto your website. It should, hopefully, help improve bounce rates and keep them glowed to your site.

I am not a huge Twitter user. But, I thought it would be appropriate to tweet about your twitter post. I used the Tweet box and it looks cool.

The WordPress plugins are great. A lot of folk don’t feel comfortable with altering anything “under the bonnet” yet the plugins give them a way to customize things without delving into stuff they don’t understand.

And nowadays you can find a WordPress plugin to do almost anything!

The Twitter @ Anywhere sounds a great addition.

Thank you! I’m always happy to hear about what WP plugins you’re using; I’m putting this on delicious. The info enables me to recommend posts like these to people over time (“oh yeah, if you’re big on Twitter, get this plugin”).

For myself, I’m keeping plugins to a minimum, and right now I’m in the market for plugins to make my installation more secure.

This plugin is great. I think I can squeeze in one more plugin in the list of plugins that I am using because this seems to be a very useful one.

First time I read thought this post and the comments. I read right over the twitter box. I blended in a little too good.
I’m not sure if I like the idea of needing to using oauth vs just passing the tweet to the tweet box on the twitter site like the topsy or tweetmeme buttons do.

Maybe topsy and tweetmeme did the same thing the first time I used them, its been so long ago :)

Hmmm, it seems that you don’t have to connect via oath all the time, only during new internet sessions, I’m going to find out if there is away around this on the Twitters develop site for anytime ;)

I just tested this with a Tweet. I was wondering what the difference was that some blogs included the blogger’s Twitter address and others didn’t. Now I know.

Do you have to use all the features…like if I like the retweet plugin I’m already using?

This is a very nice feature. It is very easy to implement for people without much experience regarding WordPress and has lots of useful options for people that tweet a lote, like Karen :D

  14. I toyed with the idea of adding this to my blog but the effect on my blog’s loading time, keeps me away from implementing it since I’ve recently switched to Twitter’s tweet this button and that stuff loads slower than tweetmeme.
