Ah Ha, you’ve found the Making Money Online tips page here on Blazing Minds, on this page you’ll find a collection of sites, that I personally use and have found of some value to ways of making money online, these include sites for earning money on Twitter, writing sponsored reviews and posts, also some tips on advertising websites that you can use to get a little extra revenue in for your blog.
I’m not saying that these sites will make you a millionaire, but they will certainly help with things such as your webhosting etc, so they do have their uses….
Making Money on Twitter
MYLIKES
MyLikes is a favourite of mine at the moment and those of you who have read my blog will have seen a blog post I made about how [intlink id="mylikes-helped-pay-web-hosting" type="post"]MyLikes has covered the cost of hosting on my blog[/intlink].
It’s all very simple to use simple sign up and start earning, you can build your reputation by showing what you like and sharing it on Twitter and/or FaceBook, but the key to MyLikes is the sponsored likes, this is where you can earn, simple select a like which is available to you and post it on Twitter and/or Facebook, very much like non-paid likes, then just hope that your followers are kind enough to click on your MyLikes and help you earn from your tweets.
You can also add a MyLikes widget to your website like the one here on Blazing Minds in the sidebar, it is editable so that the width can be changed as well as the amount of MyLikes, now when someone clicks on the links you are making money from the clicks, go on give it a try
The great thing about MyLikes is a minimum payout of $2 which is paid every Friday, so as long as you have made $2 or more you’ll get paid via PayPal, now is that cool or what?
SPONSOREDTWEETS
SponsoredTweets is an all time favourite with most Tweeters and though it doesn’t have such an influence with Twitter accounts with a small following, I’ve found that since breaking the 5,000 mark in followers, I have had more success with it, but not as much as MyLikes, also the payment threshold with SponsoredTweets is $50 and this can take a while to reach.
But saying that you can make the odd bit coming in from referrals and you will get a percentage of their earnings, but nothing to really boast about, but hey, doesn’t every little help
Since joining SponsoredTweets they have now started CPC tweeting, which is a simply, you tweet, somebody clicks it, you get paid per click. They also have a system where you will be paid you going rate for a tweet, this rate is set on how many followers you have, the more you have the better.
Making Money From Your Blogging
SOCIALSPARK
SocialSpark is probably one of my top earners for making money from blogging and to date I’ve made around $330 from sponsored posts.
Getting paid for writing your article is a bit of a wait, but it’s worth it, you can get paid from anything from $5 upwards, my top payout for an article was $75, but remember when using a site such as this don’t just select anything, try to post something that you think your readers will find interesting, a bit easy for me as the fact that my blog is in a niche of “mixed bag” I have a wider choice of article to do.
SPONSORED REVIEWS
Sponsored Reviews is another site that has been generous with payments, plus since Blazing Minds has been improving is PR, links and Alexa rankings, I’ve had more options for posts coming through, though I have rejected quite a few as they were not right for the blog.
Payout is simple, when you set up your blog you are given a range that you can set for payments for articles, but, you must remember that this will be halved as Sponsored Reviews take 50% of you revenue, so if you want to get paid $40 dollars, then you have to charge $80, but then you must remember that not all advertisers want to pay out such high amounts, so try to keep your costs to a bare minimum.
Project Wonderful
Project Wonderful is run by a bunch of neat people working out of their world headquarters in scenic Toronto, Ontario! Our CEO is Ryan North, and their goal is to make advertising online a less frustrating and more awesome experience. Find out more about what they do, read testimonials from their members, and feel free to drop them a line with any questions. There official blog, Blogject Wonderful, always has the latest information on what they’re up to.
PAY PER POST
PayPerPost is another system from the guys that brought us SocialSpark and SponsoredTweets and though it is similar in many ways, it does differ in the fact that you don’t have to wait until you have reached a $50 payment threshold, if you have earned below that you can withdraw less, but, you are deducted $2 from the total for a surcharge.
I did have a good run on posts to write some time back, but recently, it seemed to dry up a bit and those sites that did come looking for postings weren’t really something I wanted to post about, so lately I’ve rejected a few.
EBUZZING
I’ve posted about EBuzzing before here on Blazing Minds and though I haven’t had that many articles to post from them, the ones I have had have been well paid and to date have earned around €200 which is fantastic, I think the problem for me is that Blazing Minds is UK-based and this does tend to hamper the options that bloggers get, if you are USA, France or Germany based then you seem to get a lot more options, but I’m not complaining as it all adds up
YouSayToo
Now this is a brilliant way to earn from your blogging, simply join YouSayToo and add your blogs, then set your revenue setting for Google Adsense and Amazon. Now when you post a new blog post, your post is added to YouSayToo and you’ll start earning from your Adsense and Amazon affiliate.
YouSayToo is an innovative bloggers revenue sharing community where you can create your own blogs, upload flash games, start discussions and make revenue using Google AdSense and Amazon Affiliate.
YouSayToo is different from other social blogging sites because its capabilities include an “Add Your Blog” feature which allows you to centralize all of your existing blogs to one site. You can add your blogs to YouSayToo from Blogger, WordPress, TypePad, LiveJournal, FaceBook and other blogging platforms and increase your readership and make extra revenue at the same time.
Blogervertise
Though I can’t say it’s been a massive input of money and jobs coming in, Blogvertise has still made me a few dollars and as I always say “Anything is better than nothing at all!”. Much like the sites mentioned above, you write sponsored posts from the site and get paid. Not one of the best, but still an earner all the same.
Fiverr
Fiverr is a bit of an all rounder you set up “gigs” or jobs you will do for $5, hence the name, in turn for you completing a gig you will be paid the $5. It’s a really easy system to use and I’ve had quite a bit of success for this one. But watch out when you buy some gigs as some are not all what they say they are, check a users rating for their gigs before purchasing
If you are looking to earn a little more then you could try JustaFive where you can charge $5, $10 or even $20 for a job.
An After Word
Well there you have it, just some of the options for making Money Online with your Blog, Twitter etc. I will be adding some more very soon as I am using some other systems, but I would like to see how this pan out before posting them up, those of you who read my blog often will have problem seen some the Advertisement options running in the sidebars at the moment, so keep your eyes peeled on this page and I’ll be updating shortly.
