So now that things are clearing up with Twitter, do you still use Twitter as much as you did or are you slacking off a bit?

It’s took me a few days to get back on my “Twitter” feet, catching up with friends and recapturing twitters in SNODS, but was it a black hole for some users, yes Twitter is very addictive, but did people actually go cold turkey over not been able to tweet their in thoughts and mad moments, reading ExtremeJohns post “10 Reasons it Sucks when Twitter Goes Down” brought a smile to my face when Twitter went down and it’s things like this that was a breath of fresh air in a hectic world!

I for one really enjoy the escapism of Twitter and the option to release a thought at specific moment to my 1900+ followers is fun, in it’s own kind of way, yes I may have a slight aversion to missing it while it was down, but I wouldn’t exactly say that it was life threatening or that I couldn’t cope without it, but some people do have a problem that it wasn’t running 100% and they just couldn’t cope without it.

But do we really rely on sites like Twitter and technology that bit too much, think about it, what would you do without the internet, TV, mobile phones etc, could you go through a week or even a day without any technology whatsoever!

So the next time something like Twitter goes down, take my advice, chill! It will be back eventually ;)

I don’t have a problem if Twitter is down. I don’t rely too much on it.

I deactivated my Facebook account. Hated that place. I have a Twitter account, but hardly ever go over there. I guess I would just go boating more if I didn’t have the Internet. I don’t think it would bother me too much. Okay, I don’t even own a cell phone. Imagine that.

    Have a terrific day. :)

Karen, of course we rely way too much on everything… That’s what makes us human and I love it. I was devastated by Twitter going down, it’s a huge part of my branding, my business and a way to network with so many others like yourself.

Thank you so much for the linky linky love, haha.

I couldn’t believe my eyes when Twitter was down! But I quickly Googled “Twitter down” and got my answer, yes it was indeed. It felt really weird, but….at least I knew I wasn’t missing anything, because NO ONE could talk on Twitter. In other words, I would have hated it a lot worse if my internet had been out and everyone else had been carrying on the party as usual. :)

Twitter is a nice place to keep in touch with people more than the crowd ‘Facebook’ although it’s not a lifethreating if it’s down. Nevertheless, you placed a nice advice at the end, Karen :P Chill. Anyway, Gotta check ExtreemJohn’s post too :D
