The Last Airbender Trailer – Air, Water, Earth, Fire

Four nations tied by destiny when the Fire Nation launches a brutal war against the others. A century has passed with no hope in sight to change the path of this destruction. Caught between combat and courage, Aang (Noah Ringer) discovers he is the lone Avatar with the power to manipulate all four elements. Aang teams with Katara (Nicola Peltz), a Waterbender, and her brother, Sokka (Jackson Rathbone), to restore balance to their war-torn world.

The Last Airbender Opens here in the UK on Aug 13th and I’m personally looking forward to seeing it ;)

I know the reviewers didn’t like the movie, but I took my six and three year old kids to see the movie and we all really enjoyed it. It is true to the cartoon and isn’t hard to follow, it was better than most people gave it credit for.

The first time I saw the trailer, I fell in love with it. It reminds me of those Jet Li fantasy movies with the same setting.

By the way, Karen.. sorry to be off topic but your video is overlaying your wibiya toolbar… you can fix it on your Wibiya dashboard under ‘Troubleshooting’ and put a check on Flash Objects Overlay The Toolbar :)

    Hey there Karen,

I hope DB is right and that the movie stays true to the cartoon. I think the concept is great but when I heard that Shyamalan was directing, I must admit I was a little worried that he might screw it up. Ever since the 6th sense… his movies have been on a dreadful streak and I hope this would not fall victim as well. Later!

I saw yet another trailer for this movie this weekend when we went to see Toy Story 3. I can’t believe it still isn’t out since I’m sure i saw the first trailer at Christmas!

I’m not sure about the movie though – all looks a bit dramatic to me lol I might wait for it to be shown on Sky Movies instead of handing over another 20 quid to see it in glorious 3D!

Can’t wait to see this movie. The special effects look so good. And it will be in 3D!!! Awesome! I won’t want to see a review here until I actually see the movie :D

I saw the trailer for Airbender too, when I saw Toy Story 3, and it looked pretty good. However, I later heard that the reviews for it were so-so and even some accusations that director Shamalyan was being racist! Interesting…. What was your opinion of the movie?

  7. Sarra says:

I agree it should stay the same. I have also noticed a huge decline since the 6th sense which really was not that great at all.
