Recently I was sent some quite fancy looking ear buds to check out called BassBuds, these small but powerful buds come with a selection of silicon and memory foam cushions to fit the majority of ear sizes and all nicely packaged in a presentation case.

But what makes these ear phones different from most others is the Swarovski Elements embedded into the Earphone housing on the outside of the buds, giving them a stylish look when you are using them to listen to your music, they also have that added element of having Advanced Crystaltronics Sound Technology that gives you their unique quality.
Not only do they look good, but they also sound good, after removing the BassBuds from the presentation box and choosing the right silicon or the memory foam on the earbuds for a more comfortable fit for my ears, I plugged them in to my trusty iPod and set it on shuffle while I was in work.

Having my iPod on shuffle was the best way to test the BassBuds through their paces in many genres from pop to classical music, the bass is quite prominent and the treble sound is also nicely put across in the many genres, the BassBuds are also very comfortable to wear.
It’s not very often that I have to change the equalizer on my iPod, but with the BassBuds, I had to change my settings from my custom one, to drop the bass, as the BassBuds are far better than my other ear phones that I had previously been using.
Another nice touch with these ear phones, is you can use them with your mobile phone, such as with your iPhone, the BassBuds have a built-in speaker for you to take calls and a button that aloes you to accept calls when plugged in to your phone.
The button also allows you to control your iPod, pressing the button once will pause your iPod, even when it’s locked, pressing again will start to play. Not only that, but a combination of button presses will allow you to skip to the next track or the previous tracks, giving you control of your music with even touching your iPod.

These are certainly the in ear phones that not only produce the sound quality that you expect from your music in all genres, but also look pretty cool when you are using them, the tangle free cable is ideal when you are folding them up and storing them in their own draw string bag, no more trying to undo cable before you use your ear phones.
The ability to also use them as a hands free system as well is a really nice touch, now while your jogging etc and listening to music on your iPhone or Blackberry you can simply take a call with touching your phone.

These do sound really good, I like the idea that they have a selection of sizes to add on to the buds as well as being memory foam, there is nothing worse than your in-ear phones falling out all the time
