It has been announced on the Official Blog Engage Blog that it has closed its registrations and is now only allowing invited members, this was bound to happen as the community has grown since it started.

Blog Engage is one of the best sites to get your blog seen, commented on and generally improve you experience in the blogosphere, its members get to submit their article for other to view and vote on and then you can also do the same vote on new articles, comment on them at Blog Engage and on the actually blog.

So do you like the sound of BlogEngage?

If your answer is yes then you need to join, there are two ways to become a member of BlogEngage.

  • Join the Blog Forums and request an invitation by posting.
  • Know a friend on the inside. All members have the opportunity to send you an invitation.

I’ve been a member of BlogEngage since August 2009 and have found some great blogs to read and met new friends along the way, so it’s a brilliant blogging community, one of which I highly recommend.

So what are you waiting for ;)

This blog engage sounds terrific. I had heard of it but never bothered to take a look but lately I have been so busy with all these dogs I care for and help is no help! Listen I would very much like to visit this site and start participating so Im going to ask you for an invite since your a member and know me . I understand tho if you do not wish to get involed. So do let me know send me an email . Whatever you decide you know is fine with me. I love you anyway . You are a good loyal friend and whether you invite me or not its really o.k. Im reallly interested in checking it out since you gave it such a high recommendation. Who knows maybe I will make new friends there also, and learn a few things.

I would love me some Blog Engage luv…as you might know, I’m in a big blog renaissance right now, so reaching out to a new community and building some connections (the way that it seems you have done with Blog Engage) would be pretty amazing.

I’m a member from the beginning when Brian still doing he’s trial and error. Yes the idea is great. Firs the revenue sharing with adsense and then he using another ads network on blogengage that all member can create account on the ads network.
Getting invite for the community? Great! But I’m not like that to much. Even the other social network with millions member, you can join anytime, no need invitation.
I think Brian doesn’t want to engage will all blogger anymore :(

That is a great site and it’s a good idea to make it closed to protect from stupid spammers.

Thanks, I’ll figure out what it is before I ask :-) At the moment I suspect it’s similar to Mixx but I’m most likely wrong.

Probably a very good move on Brian’s part, people want what they think they can’t have or feel might be “elite” in some way. I’m happy to see it because it will hopefully mean faster load times, etc.
