So many of you who have being reading Blazing Minds lately will have noticed the competition that has been running with some free Blog Engage accounts, now I thought it would be a great opportunity to bring you the news on the new design and layout that Blog Engage has not long implemented.
Blogging Community, Blog Engage, Gets A New Look!
Blog Engage has become extremely popular over the years that it has been running and it was overdue a makeover, so @Bbrian017 got the ball rolling with a complete redesign of Blog Engage and boy oh boy is it looking so much better.
Its new crisp, clean and blue layout, makes the Blog Engage website look so much more professional and easier to navigate and even vote on the articles that are submitted to Blog Engage, but it still has all the functionally that it previously had.
It’s Not Just The Main Site!
Not only has the main site had an overhaul, but the Community Blog, where guest bloggers can have their say by submitting posts that other bloggers can and generally do find extremely useful, in a vast range of subjects, I even guest post there myself on the odd occasion.

Do you want to earn extra income online?
If you’ve an internet enabled laptop or desktop computer, this post will reveal the best strategies and methods to earn a living online. A home office is ideal for this type of business opportunity. I’ve seen a lot of successful people who made their fortunes from the internet. Blogging isn’t difficult, although it’s not a get-rich-quick scheme but it can help you share your passion, build a strong following and fan-base and generate 3 – 6 figures yearly.
I’ve been blogging since 2008 and learned several tips that work. When it comes to monetizing your blog, you need to “know the type of traffic your blog attracts.” That’s the best approach which eliminates every guess work and makes you a winner even before you start.
1. Paid Membership Subscription
Does your blog attract business entrepreneurs and experienced bloggers? If so, touring the membership access business model can make you an expert and bring in passive income. People are willing and hungry to pay for valuable and rare information. Even though Google provides free information, the “valuable” ones are hidden in membership sites.
For instance, no reasonable affiliate marketer would reveal his “best traffic strategy” for free. He would probably upload the information on his membership site and lock it. Only paid members have access to it and that makes it valuable and desired. Charge $9 – $47 on your membership site and re-bill your members monthly.

Those of you who do read Blazing Minds often will know that the blog has now been going for just over 3 years and has grown to a point of almost being known for not only the flame haired avatar but also for the diverse amounts of subjects that are posted on the blog.
So now the time has come to look forward and hope that all the work that myself, the guest bloggers and you the reader has put in to Blazing Minds has started to help and pay off. I know there are a few of you out there that retweet and share the blog posts across many of the social networks etc and this is so much appreciated.
Over 3 Years In The Making Could This Be More For BlazingMinds
It’s now time to help with increasing not only the blogs popularity but the Blazing Minds name as well, so I ask you all to help by voting for the official Blazing Minds Twitter and blog via the 4th Annual Shorty Awards. It’s easy to vote and only takes a matter of seconds to cast you vote and help Blazing Minds go even further than it has already.
All you have to do is vote for me at the Shorty Awards with a simple few clicks and a tweet! Yes, that’s all there is to it.
So that’s all there is to it, so a big, big thank you in advance to everyone that takes the time to vote for me, your time and votes are appreciated.

Online shopping is becoming popular by the day and offering discount offers makes it fun.
But how many of these people do you attract to your blog? I’m sure you’re selling a product or service. It could be an affiliate program that pays you a commission or your own product and services.
Isn’t it better you learn how to persuade online shoppers with coupon codes and other viable incentives and cause them to respond to your offers instead of your competitors? If you’re a blogger, you know that engaging your readers is the first assignment that beholds you.
When prospects are not comfortable reading your posts, there is no way you could motivate them.
Creative Engagement
I touched this earlier but there is more to it. How exactly do you persuade others to buy your product when there are millions of other web pages to buy from? By being creative, you will be able to keep buyers on your blog for a long time.
One principle of selling shows that the longer a buyers stays reading in your offer, reading and getting interested in it, the chance of making a purchase is enhanced. Have you looked at Facebook recently?

Now some time back I was reading though the blog over at BlogEngage about a contest that was being run “Four $50 USD prizes to win at blogengage“, it’s also where I noticed that Brian was using RaffleCopter to run the competition, which I do like the look of and may use it myself sooner or later, anyway I digress.
So I gave the contest a shot and tweeted, likes, followed etc to do what I could to enter in to the BlogEngage contest, I must say that I was able to follow some brilliant bloggers that are on BlogEngage through the contest and it was fun doing it
What A Brilliant Way To Start 2012 With An Announcement From BlogEngage
Then today I had an email of Brian, I was one of the four that had won a rather tasty $50, now how brilliant is that
Those of you that do read my blog will have seen my articles on BlogEngage and how I use it to find some interesting articles to read and also as a source of inspiration and help from fellow bloggers, it’s a community of a lot of give and less take than some other communities you could find and it’s the friendliness of everyone there that has kept it going in the years that it has been running.
So I would like to say a big, big thank you to Brian and BlogEngage for making my day today and I would also like to congratulate the other three winners of their $50, so it’s a big congratulations to:
- Mohammed Salmanbaig
- Zain Ali
- Jeevan Jabob John
And thanks again Brian and BlogEngage for a lovely surprise and a great start to the New Year

How does it feel to have your own little part of cyberspace, where you can air your thoughts, views and ideas? Doesn’t your blog give you a great opportunity to share, impart learning, learn from others and grow as a person? Sadly, not everyone is using their blogs positively or responsibly. Here are the 10 rules of responsible blogging.
1. Verify Information Before You Post
If the information you’re going to post is not true, of if you’re not sure of its veracity, be honest with your readers about it. The credibility of you as a blogger and that of your blog depends on the integrity of what you publish.
2. Respect People’s Viewpoints
Don’t use your blog to come down heavily on anyone’s viewpoints, be they religious, political, moral or whatever. Allow your blog to be an impartial ground where people can discuss multiple viewpoints but insist on respect.
3. If In Doubt, Wait Before Posting
If you’re not sure about a particular post, wait for at least 24 hours before posting it. Yes, we know, all bloggers undergo pressure to post and stick to a schedule. Check with your friends and network if it’s sensible to post it. If your counselors indicate in the negative, refrain from posting it.
