It seems to me that we’re well past the point where anyone is willing to defend 3D cinema with any real passion. You either choose to quietly like cinema’s latest supposed technological leap, or you choose to hate it vocally. Considering that I’m here talking about it all, you can guess what my feelings are on the subject. Frankly, I notice 3D’s effect on film more when I’m not watching it. A trip to the cinema for me usually involves sorting out which of the limited, awkwardly scheduled 2D showings me and my friends can make it to and sighing every time I see something thrown to the foreground of a scene.
Not especially enamoured with James Cameron’s storytelling, I haven’t seen Avatar, which in terms of 3D appreciation is a cardinal sin. How can I pass judgement over 3D Cinema when I’ve not seen its crowning glory? Perhaps because even if I’m willing to accept in theory that there is this one film that actually does this stuff right, the fact that two years of bad 3D films have followed just makes it seem that this supposed feat will rarely, if ever be repeated.

Not only is America suffering from an economic crisis, it’s caught in a vicious cycle, too, caused by the banks that helped fuel the crisis.
After the bottoms fell out of the bank vaults in 2008, because banks approved bad mortgage loans that brokerage firms then sold to their customers as credit default swaps, the banks became tightwads, making it difficult for small businesses and conscientious bill paying Americans to borrow money, thus creating a worse economic crisis and a tidal wave of debt.
To wrap this up in a lovely decorative package, since many banks approved bad loans back in 2008 due to their greed, we, the taxpayers, who had to bail them out, can’t get a loan from the banks we bailed out because the banks are afraid to approve loans to people who loaned them money in the first place. Whew! That was exhausting.
So, the banks got out of debt and are collecting interest on our money, while, we, taxpayers, who had to choke up cash for the loans, are accumulating further debt.

Ok those that read my blog will notice that sometimes I do a Monday Moan, well this week it’s early I just couldn’t stop myself from typing this one out!
Sometime back I posted about a seed bar called the 9Bar, one of the tastiest things I’ve ever tried and since that post I have, without fail, been buying these bars at my Local Morrisons, but recently they have not been having them, so today I found someone to ask about the bars and why they weren’t having them anymore.

Now this is a little rant from me about our local council “Conwy County Council” it seems that in their wisdom they wish to close our community garden in Towyn and guess what they want in its place, a car park and allotments!
As you can see from the picture on the gates from the gardens.
I know we have a big area up by the Tir Prince raceway which is a very large park area, but, for those that are elderly and need a place to relax and sit down with their dogs to play safely and yes the majority of the people there do pick up their digs mess, this is the ideal place to visit, it’s off the main road, it has large iron gates to keep the dogs safe from the side road and it peaceful, unlike the park by Tir Prince that has screaming kids and is close to the main coast road.
It seems such a shame that the local council should want to put a car park here in place of the gardens, I mean what has come over them, the only thing I can think of is “money” they will probably charge people for a pay and display car park at extortionate prices for the holiday makers to park in, while us poor locals lose out on yet another area.
Now if I had the email address of Liz Woods I would email here to ask why this has been done and also give her the link to this post to see if would comment here to let us know why they are taking away the community gardens.
So what’s you point of view do you think that a place for relaxation in this busy world should be removed for a carpark?
