CMF Ads brings the option of 50 guaranteed hits with Spikes!
Posted by Karen in blogging tips, tags: CMF Ads, website marketing, website promotion, website trafficThe other day I had a tweet from @benbarden asking if I had seen a new feature on CMF Ads, so I shot over to take a look at this new feature which I found on my dashboard, the new feature is called “Spikes”.
So I thought it would be a good idea to bring the readers of my blog a little bit of information about this new feature.
So what are Spikes?
Spikes are a quick way to drive traffic to your blog. Purchasing a Spike costs $0.20 and guarantees 50 unique clicks to your blog.
Below are links to all the sites who have purchased a Spike. Once you click on a site, it will disappear from this page. The site may reappear in 24 hours if the publisher buys more clicks.
Members will receive $0.002 for every publisher link clicked from this page. In other words, if you click 50 different sites, you’ll earn $0.10.
Quoted from the CMF Ads Spikes page.
This is a great way to get guaranteed unique clicks to your blogs from the bloggers on CMF Ads, I’m currently giving this a go at the moment and it will be interesting to see how long it takes to get the 50 hits of website traffic, suffice to say they may take a while as we are in the holiday season, but I have good faith in CMF Ads as they haven’t failed me with their service in the past and present
If this is indeed successful then it may be worth using it a lot more in the future.

This spike idea is intriguing. I’ll have to experiment with it and see how well it works. I have to say that I love CMF ads. Each new feature they add only makes the ad network more effective.

I gave the CMF ads Spike a try too but as of now there are still 10 clicks left (after 2 1/4 days). At the moment Google Analytics tells me i had only 27 visits instead of 40 from the spikes. From the 27 visitors 11 have been new ones (CMF Ads only, i guess) and 16 returning (in this case not anymore unique!) from EntreCard/Adgitize or previous CMF advertiser.
For sure, the weekend + Christmas is the main reason for the lack of clicks and perhaps not as many members are that active in logging into CMF ads like the members in EntreCard or Adgitize (where you have to log in daily to see who dropped on you or to do your Adgitize clicks).
Can’t argue against the price and the incentive to click
Merry Christmas for you and your loved ones!

Hi Karen
So far I’m liking the CMF Spikes. Anything that helps a bit with traffic is worth trying and the spikes appear to be giving traffic that is at least checking out my blogs. I hope you have a positive experience with them as well. I’ll stop back again.
