Karen, your perfectly understandable disclosure of non-fan status gives your review tremendous credibility. The Dictator sounds like a must-see, and “absolutely mandatory” for a Sasha fan, which I am 90% of the time. Loved d’Ali G’s idiotic interviews that tested the patience of American public figures like Buzz Aldrin (remarkably patient) and Andy Rooney (not so much). Have to admire his unabashed courage as he enters various “lion’s dens” as a fake interviewer or “student.” His behavior is just awful, and the discomfort meter pegs. With his cover blown, SBC needs a different MO than the phony interview. Delighted to hear he’s making it hilarious.

Yea, I’m not a huge fan of Sacha Baron Kohen either but I did like Talladega Nights somewhat. I want to see Borat as everyone seems to think it was hilarious.

Bono’s shades have definitely been quite iconic. I did not know the stories behind them though. Quite interesting to know and also glad that they aided charitable causes.
