There are times when you just have to sort out your Twitter Followers and there are several websites out there that help you with managing twitter followers, you may want to do this for several reasons such as removing twitters that haven’t tweeted for a while or you would like to increase twitter followers in a certain niche, or you simply just want to unfollow twitters who haven’t followed you back.

In the past I have mentioned several site that you can use to work with your twitter, but this time I’m going to mention a handy twitter website that I have started using recently called Buzzom.

You can check your stats for your twitter profile, which will give you a percentage wheel with some useful information, which will hopefully help improve your twittering.

Buzzom Twitter Stats

There are also some very simple to use options for controlling who you follow, unfollow and reciprocate twitter followers with. These are very handy as when you click on them you will get a list of the twitters with their details, so you can decide if you want to follow or unfollow them.

Options for Twitter followers

An option which I really like is the ability to “lock” twitter followers, this will enable you to make sure that you can have a list of twitters that you can lock away and not accidental remove from your twitter followers list, also an option to “cross follow”, this will allow you to enter a Twitter ID and then get a list of their followers or those that they are following, handy to those who would like to add a fellow twitters friends ;)

Now how about if you want to check out your targeted twitter followers who tweeting about your chosen niche or just someone who has the same interests, easy there is a search option that gives you a good collection of options, such as search your chosen keyword in the twitter bio, name, tweets and by place, also you can select to display those that you may already be following or those that you are not following.

Search Option on Buzzom for Twitter Followers

So there we have it, a handy twitter website that will help you with your twitter followers, if you want to increase twitter followers or just unfollow twitter followers then this is certainly a handy twitter tool to check out.

But please remember as with all twitter tools, DO NOT ABUSE THE SYSTEM, constant following and unfollowing will get you banned from Twitter, so use in moderation!

*UPDATE*

Ileane has allowed me to add her two informative videos she has made about Buzzom, so please check them out.

Buzzom is a really nice tool to try and the plus point is that it has some nice features which are free to use. I used Buzzom previously in flushing out twitters and also searching new followers. But later on I went for TweetAdder which made it much easier for me in Twitter Marketing.

Maybe I’m crazy, but I don’t use any tools like that, yet I have a targeted and productive group of followers a a twitter stream free of spam. Plus, one of the business accounts that I manage was banned for using a Twitter follower tool, so I stay miles away from them now, my Twitter account is to valuable to risk.

I think the thing to remember with all these tools is to not over follow/unfollow, limit yourself to perhaps 50-100 a day or every other day, so it doesn’t look like you are trying to spam follow.

From past experiences on using other accounts, any automation at all and you’re risking account suspension or deletion.

    Mike,

As Karen put it, you can use these tools but be careful when you mass follow/unfollow. I clean out followers about once a month and I use these types of tools all the time. I normally look up and see who hasn’t tweeted in a while or classed as bots/spammers and I do a mass delete on those. Generally I only delete a couple 100 a week if I have that many. As for following, I try not do mass following. I have had my account suspending because I tried to follow a group of 500 users before, but only once. As for Buzzon, I use the mass follow at the end of day/week to check on any new followers. Generally if I wait 48 hours, the spammers will unfollow if you don’t follow them back right away.

That may work for you, but my account is too valuable to risk. I’d rather do it all by hand. I know I’m old fashioned and don’t have the most followers ever, but my Twitter followers are very interactive, spend money, etc.

That’s great. If you got the time, that is the best way. If a client asks about these types of tools, I adise them not to use them, and warn them what could happen. Business twitter accounts can be very value to a company. As for me, I would prefer to do the old fashion way as well. I just do not have the time, to go through 50 to 100 new followers daily and check and see if they are spammers/bots or someone I will follow. I try and follow every real user.

I’m currently using some Twitter Follower tool that automatically reciprocates when someone follows me. It is working okay but all things can be improved upon. Thanks for the info :)

Hi, i like this tool. however since I’m a Host on Blog Talk Radio, i don’t think i would use this because it would defeat my purpose: to build an audience base. My genre is Self-Help /Current events so, i’m always seeking to engage the audience while sharing helpful tips and perspectives on various topics. My latest passion is Twitter. So all things twitter , I’m very interested in reading about.
