It’s been a bit of a busy day today, what with us having the back garden landscaped with some very nice new paving and one of my dogs having a trip to my local vets in Abergele.

Now don’t get me wrong I love my dogs and don’t actually mind paying out for them, but today one of them had to visit the vets to have his teeth cleaned, polished and sadly have two removed!

So at 10 this morning I dropped him off and brought his brother home without him, I never known little Dexter to be so quiet and all the way back home, he never made a sound, soon a we got home he went and sat on the back of the chair and looked for his brother out of the window.

Then at about 1PM the phone rang and it was time to go and pick up his brother from the vets, Dexter must have known, he started yapping, jumping at the front door and getting very excited, all the way to the vets he was going wild.

Dexter Outside Vets

As you can see from the picture, Dexter was waiting in the car looking for his brother and as soon as they got together, they were kissing each other, it was so cute, all this balanced out the cost for Tyleys treatment came to £96.90, you could have knocked me over with feather, but like I said earlier the both of them are worth it and their health is very important to me and to them, so it was worth every penny ;)

  1. A Costly Trip To The Vets!…

A trip to the vets can be costly, but when you have two beautiful dogs then every penny is worth it!…

A few months ago my cat fell of from the 4th floor. I couldn’t believe it until I found it down in the garden. She dislocated a bone on the back and that’s all. I don’t remember how it’s called. I had to make trips to the vet every day for a hole week and paid some good money but I did without any doubt. I love my cat and it hurt me a lot when I saw her crawling down the floor after I brought her back home from her “flight”. She is fine now and she sees the windows she felt from she gets back so I can say “lesson learned” :D

The vet sometimes seems to be a never ending expense, but is of course worth every penny. Dexter sounds really sweet. We have two border collies, and they’re exactly the same – when separated you can really tell they miss each other. When they were puppies they would whimper almost like they were crying, but now it’s a much calmer and sombre affair until they get together again and instantly go crazy with excitement…

A very price £96.90 lol at least they are both okay, I have a golden retriever and he had a really bad eye infection not long ago and that bill came to a lot of money too but your right, pet’s are certainly worth it!

I’d love to get a pet dog, but they can be so expensive with all the food and the vet trips. But if you say it’s worth it, then maybe I’ll believe you…. A small dog couldn’t hurt too much.

So happy to hear that you were able to get the pooch feeling better, on Thursday we had an issue with our bulldog being stung by a bee. Messed her all up, $147 later and well… She’s good now.

P.s. I use to have a toy poodle named Lisa when I was a kid, the picture of Dexter looking out the window reminded me of Lisa.

    Karen,
You should initiate a campaign to make the Health Care System to cover your pets. We love pets and they are part of our family. What do you think? ;)

Ouch… we had a vet visit recently that was about the same price, and they’re never fun. Speedy recoveries seem to make up for at least some of the costs…
