We probably all get “That Friday Feeling” every once in a while, it gets to the end of the week and you just feel like you can’t spend another day in work before the weekend so what do you do?

Leap of Faith“The Friday Feeling” costs companies around £50m a year, with employees calling in sick, or skipping off in the afternoon to just get back home and do something else, it’s like kids bunking off school, come on we’ve all done it, admit it

So when it’s near the weekend do you keep going through the Friday and persevere the day, knowing that the weekend is just around the corner and you’ll get two days to just do whatever you want to, or do you pick up the phone and call in sick with a few coughs here and there, saying “I don’t know it just crept up on me over night *cough* I really don’t think I should be coming in today!” or do you just grin and bear it and think TGI Friday (Thank God It’s Friday) and just go in to work!

Great post, I have to say that Friday is my favourite day of the week to be at work, it is a great feeling knowing that you have two days off and on top of this I finish at 3 on a friday, fantastic!!

Finishing at 3 isn’t bad, a lot finish later and get stuck in traffic on the way home and I think it’s those that would rather have the day off ;)

The picture you chosen is fantastic. It says more than 1000 words. I also love that “weekend is coming ” feeling and I hate the “oh, it’s Monday again” feeling…

When I had a corporate job I worked harder so HOPEFULLY I could leave earlier. Some times I could, some times I couldn’t. Now that I’m working on a business I’m sad it’s Friday because that means my web developers are not working! It may cost the companies a lot in productivity, but it makes their employees happier, which can positively effect performance.
