Ok, I’m having another moan about Technorati, I personally think that their spider is a complete waste of time and pinging Technorati is also a waste of resources..

Each time I make a post Technorati is pinged, does it make any difference? Does it heck. My current days on Technorati is now 24 since they say that my blog was last pinged, hang on didn’t I ping them with my last post? Certainly did and with all the other previous posts!

I know it’s not my blog causing any problems as sites such as BlogBurst have no problem whatsoever with my updated posts and they are always up to date.

So it comes down to the Technoarti spiders, it seems that blogs that are written about SEO, music or politics are pinged frequently, but other mediocre blogs are left to dry, so is it just me? I think not from previous posts I have made people seem to be having the same problems, I tried getting in touch with Technorati and no response, figures!

Even their Twitter is a waste of time, no updates, problem fixes….

So my conclusion to the whole Technorati update situation is now this, if the days since last ping are updated great, if they are not, then who cares!!!!
