This is a sponsored post brought to you via The Go Viral Network, all opinions expressed are mine and not of the sponsor.

The other day I was going through my inbox, when I came across an email from Peter Ross over at GoViral, asking me to check it out GoViral Network and see what I think. How could I resist ;)

So after signing up with GoViral and clicking on the link in the confirmation email, I waited for my blog to be accepted, in a very short time my blog was accepted and now it was time to give GoViral a good checking out, so off I went!

Using the site is easy to use after logging in you are given a selection of videos that you can add to your website, now when a video is played you get payed each time it gets played, so really simple there then.

Before you add a video on to your website you can see from the selections available which countries are paying for the video, so if you are getting most of your traffic from the UK you may wish to select a video that is paying for plays from the UK, but each video will show you in the campaigns section which countries are paying. All this allows you to filter out those that may not be targeting your desired country on your blog.

Once you have selected your video to add to your blog you are given the options of what size, colour and the code to place on your website, then it’s just a case of copy and paste, it’s really that simple, so adding videos to your blog couldn’t be easier.

Now onto the important thing about the website, getting paid!

In the section where you choose the video there is a section letting you know what the Pay Per View for targeted countries, this is how much you will be getting paid when people play the video from your website, according to the website you can be paid via PayPal or Bank Transfer, I know most will probably go for the PayPal option and payment is when your account balance get to €50, which seems to be the norm these days on a lot of sites.

Now I’ve only just joined the site to give it a test run and you may have noticed a few video coming up from GoViral, but earnings aren’t too bad and then seem to be more than I would earn from Google in one day, so that’s great. But as with any website that you are making a revenue from, don’t over do it as your readers may get sick and tired of video popping up where you don’t need them.

But on the whole GoViral does look good and it’s one site that I am recommending to those of you that are looking for another avenue to earn from.

If you have any further questions or would just like to know more than check out there user manual…

  3. Is it just me, but when I see the embedded video box on this blog post, all I see is a black box, not a video or a play button. Is it just me?

Great idea this as bloggers are always struggling to make a bit of money on their sites, the problem is that blogs are there for a bit of fun in most cases and sometimes being paid to do things kind of ruins it.

  7. I have been on GoViral’s email list for quite a while, though I haven’t embedded any video’s. I keep up to date on whats being offered, I think being able to embed a video on a blog post and earn per view or click from it is yet another way to try and monetize your site.

I like how they have targeted countries and break out the cost per view (is usually between .2 and .5 cents per view. But they have very few with target for USA I find in comparison to other countries.

  15. Karen you are very creative. You have shared an idea that is very effective in many ways.
    1) By adding videos , you have new stream of traffic.
    2) Traffic from You tube and other CDN.
    3) By adding videos , your visitros have something different from your blogosphere.
    4) Lat but not the least, monetization.

So new horizons open from adding videos to your blog.

    Thanks for sharing the idea.

Haven’t heard about this type of thing that one can make money with videos before (wish youtube could come up with something like it) but I really do like the concept. And I hope that Goviral really go viral enough to challenge other companies to further open this market.
