Electric cars, will they actually help the enviroment!

Posted by Karen in Earth It’s all you here these days, “Electric cars will help the environment and save pollution”, but, will they? Surely the fact that these cars run on electric will mean more power been churned out by the power stations and in turn this may cause more pollution, I may be wrong, I don’t know, but to me it all seems a bit mad. Also the fact that these cars can’t really travel that far with out “re-charging”, image travelling on your holidays and getting halfway down a motorway and you run out of power, aargggg. So are they environmentally better and greener or just another fad from those that want to make more money from a gullible public.
