It’s not very often that an album comes along that truly deserves so much credit for it’s audio delights, but String Theory by Electromagnetic Impulses is one of those albums.

Right from the very start of the album you just want to turn up your sound system as loud as it will go to show your neighbours what great electronic/dance music should sound like and not only has Electromagentic Impulses aka Jay Mallett entice us with us talents, but he’s also got the amazing vocal talents of Pixieguts and Corrientes guesting on two of the thirteen tracks and not to forget the mixing talents of DJ Crimson Death and Rigg-A-Mortis.

This album is just one of those that you want to hear over and over again! Even if you not a fan of the genre this will certainly put you on the right track, the overall quality of the production side of the release is superb, crystal clear sound and a bass that is to die for and as I mentioned earlier with the vocals of Pixieguts and Corrientes, the album doesn’t just come across as instrumental only.

As an example the track Help Saved My Life is probably one of the best Drum n Bass tracks that I’ve heard, but then the last track is a version with the vocals by Corrientes, which is even better, a track that gets your heart thumping and urge to get up on the dance floor and go for it.

Overall, this is an album that will surpass most of your thoughts of the genre and will certainly want you begging for more…
