Resistance is Futile With This Summer Flick

Captain Kirk and Spock are back and light-years ahead of the summer blockbuster competition with Star Trek Into Darkness. And, with Chris Pine and Zachary Quinto reprising their roles, this long awaited sequel is sure to please both moviegoers and Trekkies alike.

Because the first installment seemed to work so well, Into Darkness is looking to make lightning strike twice by using almost all the same cast and crew. The only difference is the addition of the Star Trek main staple and thorn in James T. Kirk’s side: the intergalactic antagonist, Khan.

The Lone Blockbuster

When a classic is brought back to life, skepticism abounds. Luckily that’s not the case with this summer’s reimagining of the quintessential western, The Lone Ranger. And, with Johnny Depp as Tonto and Armie Hammer as the Lone Ranger himself, this rendition is sure to take whatever the critics have and fire right back via hip-holstered six shooter.

What’s going to make this movie guaranteed box office boffo is the fact that legendary blockbusting king, Jerry Bruckheimer, is producing the western with the help of a little known company that goes by the name Disney. That’s some pretty solid backing.

No blockbuster roundup is complete without an outrageous and raunchy comedy. Look no further than The Hangover Part III. And, in terms of outdoing itself, the third installment will absolutely leave audiences shocked, awed, and most importantly rolling in the aisles with laughter.

Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, and Zach Galifiniakis are back as Phil, Stu, and Alan: the hung-over triple threat. See what unforgettable shenanigans they get themselves into and whether or not they finally learn their lesson (which they probably won’t).
