I did have the new firefox, but quickly went back to the old version, due to lack of memory meant there was very little I could do before getting an error message, and all the buttons dissapear and everything! I’ll wait a while before getting 3.5 again

Firefox 3.5 may have new features plus the incompatibility issues with some plugins. I don’t think it’s any better than the older versions. Page loading speed doesn’t quite change, as far as I’m using PC speed boosting software and frequently tweak my system, it doesn’t even count. Its Minefield counterpart is way faster.

Anything to help, I know sites like EntreCard are working on an update for their toolbar so, hopefully, it won’t be too long before disabled plugins are compatible again.

Starting a couple of months ago (e.g., April 2009) I noticed Yahoo web mail pages were not rendering very well. Overlapping text, hypertext items with limited mouse-over areas (difficult to “click”), and font sizes changing as I moved from page to page, opened new tabs, etc. The problem was not limited only to Yahoo…but did not seem to be as bad as with Yahoo.

Anyway, when FF 3.5 was announced I was hopeful that it might resolve these problems. No such luck.

Anyone notice similar page rendering problems with FF (any version). Any ideas how to remedy?

even though dashblog is incompatible I am happy with Firefox 3.5 so far, it is noticeably faster than 3.0 in my opinion
