It was an early rise this morning due to the fact that at around 8:30 the builders arrived to take down our garden wall and get ready to build a new one!
Why would we have a new wall, well the old one decided it was time to start leaning towards our next door neighbours garden and given a few more months it would of probably been sitting in their garden forming a rather funny looking rockery.
So the back garden does indeed look like a building site, which blocks in the garden and a cement mixer ready and waiting for todays footing to set ready for tomorrows onslaught of mortar making to start building up the new wall.

Have you ever noticed that builders or workmen in general always seem to have a strong cup of coffee or tea and always have a lot of sugar in their drinks, maybe it’s to keep their strength up while they are working, must remember to ask them tomorrow

At least the weather has been kind to the builders doing the job and hopefully tomorrow will be a bit of the same with sun and cool breeze. The dogs aren’t too keen on the whole situation though, they can’t understand why they can’t go in the garden and play, poor things

Wow you have some major construction going on over there, I had no idea you were that big into gardening.
If it weren’t for all the damn snakes in Florida I would def. want a garden.
I can’t wait to see the after pictures when it’s done.

Your place does not look that bad. I was expecting a real mess, but it’s ok. When you look again it will be perfect again.
BTW, did your neighbors complain about the wall? I know they would here in SA. sometimes it happens and then they think you did it on purpose.
Post a picture once done.
