UPDATE: Since this post was originally written the Fame Game has sadly closed down

Wouldn’t it be nice to be able to get a slice of the pie when it comes to a bit of Fame of Twitter, well now you can with the “Fame Game“!

OK! So perhaps we won’t be able to get to the dizzy heights of @LadyGaGa and her massive following of little monsters, but it would be nice to have some kind of FAME even if it’s only for one day, so let me tell you how you can get a little slice of that fame pie with FAME.

FAME is on a mission to find a new tweeter to make more famous than GaGa, it’ll certainly be interesting to see if this bit of Twitter fun will be able to pull this off, now wouldn’t that be something for the celebrity news headlines ;)

All you have to do is connect your Twitter account:

  1. Connect your Twitter to play. Each day we randomly select one FAME winner at 12 noon EST.
  2. Everyone playing FAME will automatically follow the winner’s Twitter account for 24 hours.
  3. The next day, a new winner is selected and the previous winner is automatically unfollowed.

Now how easy is that!

When you connect with your Twitter, you will get one entry ticket, if you decide to tweet out that you have joined the Fame Game you will get an extra “10″ tickets, then for each person that joins up using your link will give you an extra 5 tickets. The more tickets you have the better your chances of winning.

FAME is a relatively new site, but the buzz is getting around quite quickly and more and more tweeters are joining in, so get on over there and get involved each day ;)

But Wait!

Now there is a catch to become famous for 1 day, all those people who automatically followed you, because you won, will automatically unfollow you when the 24 hours is up, but, if you make those 24 hours something special and I know most of you do, then most of those tweeters will bookmark you and keep following you.

All you have to remember, is keep your good quality, funny, helpful and maybe interesting tweets flowing and those tweeters will think to themselves, “Hey this tweeter is really worth following!”

So good luck in the Twitter Fame Game and keep tweeting.

This seems to be interesting to me.The challenge here is for how long would it last and there must be quality content posts to attract and sustain the followers that you gained from the game.I predict this site will get popularity fast and will attain its goal of giving one random Twitter user more followers for a day than Lady Gaga.
