One of the sites that most Tweeters know about is the ever popular Sponsored Tweets and a problem that most of those using the system has been the $50 payout limit, where you must make at least $50 before you can get paid.
But some great news is that Sponsored Tweets has now removed that limit and you can now withdraw your earnings of any limit from your account, more info at Cashing Out Your Sponsored Tweets Earnings, suffice to say that lifting the $50 limit is great for those that may take ages or indeed not reach that limit, but you have to take into consideration that if you do withdrawal from Sponsored Tweets below $50 you will charge a $2 surcharge, but don’t worry this is taken from the amount you withdrawal.
So if you withdrawal $30 they deduct $2 giving you a payout of $28, so that’s not really that bad is it
Though paying out $2 may seem a bit daunting, look on the bright side at least you don’t have to wait until you hit $50, so a benefit really for anyone using Sponsored Tweets, ok so it’s not like MyLikes that has a minimum payout of $2 and no surcharge, but come on every little helps and now Sponsored Tweets have brought in this new option, it’s great for anyone wanting to grab that cash that they thought they couldn’t touch.
So what do you think, is this a better system? Are you using Sponsored Tweets? Let me know I’d love to hear your point of view

I’ve used Sponsored Tweets a little bit and earned a few bucks as well, but MyLikes has been my biggest Twitter income by far, so far. It’s been a few months since I used MyLikes last though, I didn’t think that the money earned was worth it.

We do not use Sponsored Tweets. We’ve been out of the loop on this one, as we have not heard much in the real estate niche on folks using it. I certainly do not think $2.00 is much on a $30 tab, but a $10 tab is a bit excessive. Can you imagine the money Twitter was making before the limit was reduced? I would imagine most people do not reach the $50 limit.

I’m signed up for sponsered tweets, but I don’t think I’ve made any money with them. For tweets Mylikes is the only thing making me money. I have less than a 1000 followers so maybe that’s the reason.

These earning opportunities don’t quite work for me as I have a small follower base. But I am a member of both Sponsored Tweets and MyLikes and made some money from the later. Now that Sponsored Tweets has removed that $50 minimum payout, I need to give a little bit of attention to it.

That’s good news for its members. I have about $1.5 in my sponsored tweets account, it is even not enough for the fee to withdraw.

I haven’t used Sponsored Tweets but I do think it is an excellent idea that the payout limit has been lowered. The fact is, that with most of these things, the majority of folk don’t reach that minimum payout level consequently they never see ANY money from it.
I suppose some people must do well with them but personally, I’ve never heard of anyone who has.

Well I guess I’m a twitter no-body since I didn’t even know about Sponsored Tweets or MyLikes – guess I have to research to do. Those payout thresholds can be a pain in the rump-de-dump as you get started in any program – the worst ones are the one’s that take the money away if you don’t have any activity for awhile!

I’m actually really interested in reading the comments about how everyone feels about this, and Sponsored Tweet issues generally. Dawn’s comment above sums up what I’ve heard about a number of these programs.
I’m gonna have to look into MyLikes – I want to make some cash so I can start paying for advertising. I’m realizing how difficult it is to promote what I’ve got for free.

Removing that limit was a good move because this people that weren’t able to reach the $50 limit will be able to withdraw their money and this way maybe they will be motivated to tweet even more

Thank goodness they removed their payout limit. It probably would have taken me a lifetime to hit $50. lol. I’m still waxing strong @ $0.28. lol
