Presenting An Article Of Parts For The SciFi Weekender 2013

Blazing Minds and Glenn Fabry

So you all know that this weekend has been the big event for Blazing Minds and covering the 2013 SciFi Weekender has been an amazing time spent I’m Pwllheli.

We were working from 10 in the morning right through to the early hours during the event that we went to on Thursday afternoon, in preparation for event to kick off on Friday.

Thursday was for the early birds, with loads of stuff going on throughout the weekend we had decided to go down for the early bird to get to grips with the events areas and schedules for the weekend.

Now as I mentioned earlier we crammed in so much over the days we were in Pwllheli, that I’ve decided to use the next few days to bring you a collection of articles bringing you some amazing exclusive photos and what was happening at the 4th SciFi Weekender.

What Is The SciFi Weekender

Back for a fourth year in 2013, the The SciFi Weekender (formerly the SFX Weekender) promises the ultimate sci-fi experience. It’s a festival of fun and activities for people who love science fiction and fantasy

The SciFi Weekender is packed with activities for fans: big-name guests, interviews, Q&A sessions, movie screenings, comic workshops, videogaming, music, book readings and plenty more. It’s all about bringing like-minded people together for a weekend structured around four pillar events: the entertaining Imaginarium cabaret, the sweeping Maskerade party (with awesome DJing from Craig Charles), and the fiendish Blastermind pub quiz.

The SciFi Weekender attendees will get the chance to fully immerse themselves in  sci-fi culture. Fans can discover how comics are made, discuss burning issues with their favourite author, or be among the first to see exclusive screenings of films and TV shows. There are also many autograph opportunities: the full line-up will be revealed over the coming months. Above all, though, it’s a chance to hang out with like-minded people and enjoy a few drinks in a safe environment with other fans.

So today’s post is a little bit of teaser of some of the stuff that we will be bringing you on this colossal event that has moved from Prestatyn to Pwllheli for an event that SciFi fans are mad to miss.

Over the next few days, there will be exclusive shots with the likes of @WhoFrazer, @BrianBlessed, @ChaseMasterson, @ManuIntiraymi and loads more. Even shots and reviews of some of the shows that were put on for the guests.

So part 1 of this exclusive feature will start on Blazing Minds tomorrow, with exclusive shots from my event going partner @RealLeeHoward and believe me they are awesome, I’ve seen the portrait shots and they are to die for.

Sit tight and subscribe to Blazing Minds so you don’t miss out on this collection of articles about the greatest SciFi event in North Wales..
