Yeah I guess that's true, you'd probably give up out of frustration before you even reached your 750Mb limit! Still, it's nice to know you've got it there if you need it, so I think I'd rather have a bit more. Other networks seem to offer unlimited usage, although admittedly they no doubt have a fair usage policy that is nowhere near unlimited!

I have had my iPhone since the summer but have no idea how many Mb's I use. I know that the 3G can be very slow sometimes though so using lots on that might be difficult, so I prefer wi-fi.

I've never had a smartphone so I'm not sure how much data transfer the average user will get though, but I agree, 750Mb sounds pretty stingy. I'm pretty sure Orange's more standard offering is 500Mb, which is even worse! A friend of mine just got an HTC Hero on Orange, and he's messing about on it constantly, so it'll be interesting to see how close to his limit he gets.

I don't think you will break through 750MB with 'normal use' of the iPhone. I'm paying €20 a month for a 1GB dataplan and I don't think I've ever used more than 150MB a month. I always use WiFi whenever possible though (home and work) since it's faster.

Nevertheless, in 2009 (soon 2010) you should be able to get more than just 750MB worth of data, I'd say that.

iPhone 3GS available on Orange with tiny usage!...

So the iPhone 3GS is finally going to be available on the Orange network on the 10th November, but at what cost? And what are the options for those that wish to surf the net and use the iPhone to its full advantage?...
