Katie Piper Charity Concert Coming Soon To The Pavilion Theatre Rhyl

Those of you who have followed my Tweets (@BlazingMinds) and even read the Events Page here on Blazing Minds will have seen me mention the Katie Piper Charity Concert.

So the event is aid of the Katie Piper Foundation and will have a collection of acts performing for the night in a hope to raise some money for the Katie Piper Foundation.

Who Is Organizing The Event?

Ceri Pritchard is 26 from North Wales and she is bringing us the charity show.

Three years ago Ceri was in a bad motorbike accident whilst working as a singer/dancer in Cyprus, her leg was badly burnt and the doctors just about saved her leg.. there was so much nerve damage and because all layers of skin were burnt from her leg she needed skin grafts and also she had what they call drop foot so she lost all feeling in her toes and couldn’t move them which then scared her because she thought she would never walk again.

After meeting Katie Piper such a lovely lady she has shown me its OK to have scars and more than anything to embrace them because we are all beautiful in our own ways. I attend some of the charity work shops that Katie does and I always leave them feeling positive and accepted, and even beautiful after the make-up work shops.. such a feel good day..full of lovely people! I have met so many lovely people with similar injury’s and different conditions and its so nice to chat to them and share our thoughts.. I have met some amazing people and I really want to help the charity to get this rehabilitation centre open because I think it will be a really amazing thing. as we have nothing like this in the uk and I think its fantastic that Katie is doing this. It’s going to be so  beneficial to people with burns and I will do my best to keep fundraising to make it happen!
