I think there is nothing wrong to bribe people with coffee. In fact, I strongly support bribes like that!

I actually saw my first pro game that year too, just a very different stadium unfortunately because I wasn’t living in New York yet. I would’ve loved to be there to see that win, even if the Yankees loss. And the fact that it was Phil Rizzuto day is just like bonus!

I bribe my daughter with coffee so she will go shopping with me. Yeah, I just said that! Ya know, my first professional baseball game was at Yankee stadium. Let’s see [I remember this] it was Tom Seaver’s 300th win [yeah, the Yankees lost] and Phil Rizzuto Day [Holy Cow!] and we sat behind home plate! It was great. Uh, did I just age myself? Great interview, Mike & Karen!

Hi Mike,

I gave up java two years ago, but I must admit I still miss it. Great interview and I really appreciate the advice about blogging being like a marathon. I never thought of it that way before but it’s a great analogy.

Karen, I think you told me that the interview was going to go live today, but I forgot so it turned out to be a really nice Christmas present! Thank you!

Jordan – You’re actually really right. When I do the reviews, I usually drink several cups of coffees in a short period of time to get a full idea of how the coffee tastes, etc. As an added bonus, I get really caffeinated along the way.
