Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted 3D
So Alex (Ben Stiller), Marty (Chris Rock), Gloria (Jada Pinkett Smith) and Melman (David Schwimmer) are back in Madagascar 3, we start with the crazy animals in Africa, on a mission to get back to New York and their beloved Central Park Zoo.
So they make their way back in their usual mad cap fashion this time via Monte Carlo and grabbing the Attention of the rather crazy looking Captain Chantel DuBois (Frances McDurmand), in turn they hook up with a circus to. And their way back to New York with the help of those amazing Penguins, Monkeys and King Julian and Co.
So as with the previous Madagascar movies the antics that they get up to is historical and those pesky penguins seem to have a lot mor screen time and up to no good as they are on a quest to become rich beyond their wildest dreams.
With Madagascar 3 you are getting much of the same as the previous films, although it is nice to the gang back on the screen and to have the original cast reprising their rolls.
The 3D in the movie is fairly good, but let’s face it 3D doesn’t really have that grasp as it used to have when it first came out, yes there are key moments where the 3D really stands out (excuse the pun), but as we are all used to it now, you don’t look at the screen the same.
Overall Thoughts For Madagascar 3
Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted is a great family film for both old and young, you don’t have to watch the 3D release, but it does add to a few scenes. If you want to entertain the kids at half term then this is certainly one for them and the adults.
My only issue with the film is it’s release date, the film was originally released back in June in the USA and here in the UK we have had to wait for it, Madagascar 3 is out on October the 19th, so take the kids to see it and enjoy
