Well lets start this article by wishing everyone around the globe a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays, hopefully Santa has brought you something nice and you are now settling back and relaxing with a nice bottle of wine and enjoying Christmas Day.

So I thought as it’s Christmas and 2012 is nearly on its way out I thought I would do a little catch up for the blog on what has happened and some Top Lists for you to enjoy and look back on what has been a pretty awesome year.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays. What’s Been Happening For Me In 2012

Let’s get on to what has happened in the last 12 months, for starters, the Blazing Minds blog has become extremely popular and has bringing you, the reader, even more film reviews with thanks to my local cinema taking me on as their official film reviewer, I’ve also been working with my local radio station, @PointFMRhyl bringing those reviews to listeners of the radio and the world via the internet stream that the station has.

I’ve also been on a constant and rather frustrating battle, if that’s the right word, with Twitter, in an aim to stop people pretending they are Blazing Minds and impersonating me, but sadly Twitter in their strange wisdom think that someone saying they are me is not impersonation, but hey the fight goes on and on and on…

Not only have I been working hard on my blog, I’ve now been classed as an online journalist, which I love, I’ve joined with a friend and we now have a little business going where we manage someone and put on events with them, I’m technically the publicist of the company, it’s great and it’s another side of the entertainment world that I’m thoroughly enjoying.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays. Giving Something Back To The Community

Now a lot of you who read the Blazing Minds blog, will have seen the posts, I’ve put up about some Teddy Bears, now these were kindly donated to me from the Build A Bear Workshop to give to children that lost their loved and cherished toys in the recent St Asaph floods, I did feel like Mrs Christmas over the last week giving them out to the children.

What did surprise me was as the word got out about the Teddy Bears, our local area newspaper asked me for some information and a photo shoot with two young boys that had lost their furry friends (post coming up about that very soon), I was also contacted by the radio station Heart Radio, to do an interview about the Build A Bears and why I decided to get in touch with them.

Suffice to say, I’m just someone trying to give a little something back to those that have lost things, I was in the floods here in Towyn in the 90′s so I know what it’s like for all those affected in St Asaph.
