Monday Moan – Celebrity Big Brother
Posted by Slappy Bear in Guests Posts, Monday Moan, tags: Big Brother, celebritiesIt’s that time of year again when Channel 4 decide to bombard with a complete and utter pile of … careful Karen might tell me of for swearing
Yes it’s time for Celebrity Big Brother which begs the question:
WHY?
Plain and simply really, why do channel 4 bother with this complete and utter dribble, it’s bad enough having just suffered Help I’m a Washed Up Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here. It seems that everything is celebrity these days, don’t they get enough stardom and lime light from what they do anyway, oh hang most of them have a flagging career anyway
Yes, I know what fans of the show will say, “If you don’t like it don’t watch it!” ok that may be the case but then every time you turn on the TV in the morning it’s this celebrity did this, that celebrity did that, I DON’T CARE!!!!!!
Ok my rant is over …. Or is it?

Actually went and did some Wikipedianess about Big Brother last month. I thought it was novel in many ways, until they diverged into celebritiness.
The same tactic of producers and writers with a similiar ‘real life’ house show on MTV years ago resulted in a porn producer and famous televangelist living in close quarters.
Regular people just seem to be more real, and the honest humor that develops is more to my liking.
