The Definitive Playlist for Music from the Amazing Show Monkey Dust!
Posted by Karen in Music, Videos
Ok everyone! This could possibly be the final update to this post, so lets get on with it
Now I’ve always been a fan of the TV show Monkey Dust that used to be on BBC Three some years ago with it’s quirky characters and amazing music, this is the show that introduced me to the wonderful musical talents of Goldfrapp and Boards of Canada!

Wow thanks for submitting my article, very much appreciate, I’ll be stopping by your blog and doing the same for you
It is a weird show, it’s just a shame that only one series out of the three is only available on DVD.
Don’t forget Bent – As you fall. Featured in season 3, for example ep3 6:30

Many thanks, I see what you mean about hard to find, I think this may be a track I’ll never got on my playlist
drop me an email re this track, can source it for you
Hi,
You should have an email back from me
Also, noticed another omission: S Club 7 – Reach. It’s blaring out from the flats a couple of times when Clive is on his way home.
You shouldn’t have too much trouble getting hold of that.

Thank you thank you thank you so much. My friend from London got me into this show and I have been looking for the playlist for years. There is one song I am looking for. The only part of the lyrics you hear are ” this land tales my breath away” and it has a very mellow caverness sound. The scene is dreamscape with the boy that visits his father and they are running in a dead forrest when the boys ballon gets stuck in a tree. Its is absolutely sublime and I would love to have it in my collection. Would you know what the song is?
Thanks again

Hi, without seeing the episode of “Divorced dad and Timmy” and hearing the track, I couldn’t really say which track it actually is
Dont forget the cinematic orchestra – channel 1 suite.
The best animation show ever and a tragic loss when Thompson died.
Wow, that is a stunning list! I’ve worked out about 20 and got hold of them, even got into Boards of Canada via MD.
Congrats on the list!
