Most of us will remember sometime back in May a rumour racing around the twittersphere of the death of the actor Patrick Swayze due to pancreatic cancer.
But sadly it has now been confirmed buy the report from Associated Press that he has now lost his battle against cancer and has died at the age of 57.
LOS ANGELES — Patrick Swayze has died after a nearly two-year battle with pancreatic cancer. Swayze’s publicist Annett Wolf says the 57-year-old “Dirty Dancing” actor died Monday with family at his side. He came forward about his illness last spring, but continued working as he underwent treatments.

I was never a big fan of him but I can understand why people loved some of his movies. I was just hoping that he would make it through the cancer, everybody with cancer deserves to make it (well, except a few people of course – 9/11 and the like), but unfortunately he Swayze didn’t

Cancer is an awful disease. The sad part is that he was young and full of life.

I just heard about his passing yesterday. I heard he didn’t so any cancer therapy because he just wanted to live life before he died. He got very skinny very quickly too especially around his face. He was quite young though to die, it’s a shame.
