There are songs for everyone’s preferred genre of music as well, so you can be patriotic listening to any kind of music. With summer in full swing, showing your pride through music is perfect for blasting at your next barbeque for Memorial Day, 4th of July and Labor Day. Here’s a few songs will sure to be a hit at your party.

This is a great song for country music lovers. Even if you don’t listen to country music, Toby Keith’s name will sound familiar to almost everyone. He is incredibly respected as a music artist, since being awarded “Artist of the Decade” at the American Country Awards in December of 2011.especially because he has acting experience too.”Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue” was written in regards to the World Trade Center attacks on 9-11. The song was about remembering everyone impacted by the attacks that took place.

“When I’m Gone” 3 Doors Down

3 Doors Down has a handful of hit singles in their history of performing rock music. They’ve headlined with bands such as Staind. Their music is not too heavy or too soft, so it can be enjoyed by all ages. “When I’m Gone” is not just a patriotic song alone, but their music video alone gives tribute to the men and women that serve in our country. The video was actually recorded on the USS George Washington.

“American Boy” Estelle

“American Boy” by Estelle is a great song that is for music listeners with an interest in rap and R&B. Estelle is a British performer, and produced this song with controversial artist, Kanye West. “American Boy” was actually nominated for a “Song of the Year” at the 51st Grammys. The song references having a liking for American boys. It may not pay tribute to any event, but there are all kinds of men in the United States, including our heroes.

“Country Boy” Aaron Lewis

Aaron Lewis is the lead singer for the band, Staind. Staind is highly recognized for performing for our troops, along with other music artists too. Staind is a rock band, but Aaron Lewis took a step back from rock music to reach out to his country roots in his solo album, Town Line. Aaron Lewis sings about his pride for his country and his hometown in the song. Charlie Daniels, Chris Young, and George Jones also perform this song with Aaron Lewis.
