This is a guest post from Angus Maiden musical genius and DJ.
I thought I’d share a poem of mine with you:
“Become One With Me”
Beckoning towards the fire,
Eternal slave to her desire.
Come inside, the water’s clear,
Over, under, always near.
My eyes behold the stars above,
Embracing us with all their love…
Only you.
Not any other goddess would do.
Empty out my plague-ridden thoughts,
Winter’s sunlight, Summer’s frost.
Ice to sooth unravelled seams,
Time to dream immortal dreams.
Hold me, I’m forever yours.
Mine to adore, mine to kiss.
Eternal fire, eternal bliss.

Yes someone very special, who I let slip through my fingers. It was written a while ago. I still dream about being with her, and when I wake it is quite sad that I’m not. I could write (have written and will write) reams of poetry and songs about her.

It’s better to regret the things you did rather than regret the things you didn’t do. In the future, when some opportunity arises give it a shot so you will know that at least you tried.

Heh this is definitely a case of regretting something I did. And all too much a case of taking chances. Someone I _had_, then let slip away.

The best thing to do is to learn from others mistakes, but sometimes we have to learn from our own mistakes. Let’s hope we will learn from them so we can avoid that something like that happens again in the future. I wish you all the best!

That’s very beautiful and I can feel the depth of the emotion through the words of that experience.
