Several Java widgets haven’t been working lately, such as the drop down menu in the “about” section and the hide sidebar options.
It’s taken a while to find out what was causing these not to work, but , I have found the culprit and now you should be able to use the hide posts, hide sidebars and get the links from the drop down menu in about.
