People may say Sony are laughing all the way to the bank, cos both records are on their label, but at the end of the day, it's all down to peoples choice. People who buy singles know where their money is going. I don't refuse to buy a single by a band I like, just because a band I don't like are signed to the same label. This campaign was in no way a campaign about Joe. Nowhere in the x factor rules states that they have a god given right to the number one spot. At the end of the day, more people chose to buy RATM than Joe. If Joe was good and popular, then he should've won, hands down. I think they should do it every year! It's the only way I'd buy a single! Plus, digital downloads for as little as 29p is the way to go to see real music chart, bought by people with taste.
