David Carradine 1938-2009Sad news indeed about the star of the 70′s series Kung Fu and more recently as Bill in the Kill Bill movies.

David Carradine was born in Hollywood on 8th December 1936 and was the eldest son of John Carradine, David made well over 100 films and is probably best known for the 70′s series Kung Fu in which he played Crane wandering the west in the 1800′s putting wrongs right.

Thai police released a statement saying the Mr Carradine was found on Thursday morning by a maid in a wardrobe with a rope around his neck!

So the question now is, was it suicide or something more bizarre? Only time will tell if an investigation delves deeper into this tragic death of a such well known actor.

  1. I must be living in a cave or something…I have no idea who this guy is. He looks vaguely familiar but that is about it. With that said, it is always a tragedy when someone takes their own life.

It’s sad, so sad really, no matter how he died. Money, fame, what does it all mean when the end happens like this? I will still always remember him fondly as the Grasshopper.
