It’s not very often we get snow here on the North Wales coast, it’s due to the fact that we are so close to the see that it only makes it to the hills behind us, but, yesterday we had a barrage of snow coming down and we were all bought to standstill.
It took me ages to do a simple drive home from work yesterday with everyone crawling along at around 5-15mph, though there was the odd nutter that decided they didn’t have to and decided to try to overtake everyone else, there’s always one!
So today I’m off work and though the sun is shining the road is like an ice rink it’s just so icy and slippy, but there are still people braving the weather and driving up the road with their wheels spinning road on the ice.
Even the poor flowers are having a bit of a hard time with the weather, but with more snow forecast over the next couple of days and it getting colder, then it looks like we will have to turn up the heating, rap up warm and just go with the flow

So how’s the weather where you are, have you had a dusting of snow, a having thick covering or nothing at all? I’d love to know

Stay safe, Karen! When people aren’t used to it, it makes it that much more shnarky out on the open road.
We’re looking at ten more days before the temperature gets above freezing at my home in New Hampshire, USA…

I love watching the weather channel and seeing all of the snow that everyone is getting, wish we would get some here. It was almost cold enough last night.

Where I live it snowed for 2 days, everything was covered in white and frozen and the 3rd day it started to rain like we were in the autumn and is raining for 2 days. This climate change is so weird…

Where you live sounds a lot like where I used to live in Portland, Oregon. About an hour away from the Pacific Ocean and almost never got snow.
I live in Tampa, Florida now. Usually it’s pretty warm down here, but there’s a small chance that it might snow here, for the first time in about 36 years or something crazy.

Karen,
Thats crazy weather. We had some freezing rain last night that put a nice thin sheet of ice on the roads. Last night and next few days we are getting the coldest weather we have seen in almost a decade.
Stay Safe and have a little fun in the snow…
