Now some time back on this very blog, @SlappyBear was born, a bear that was kindly named by @ExtremeJohn after a little poll that I ran with names for the new bear.

The Slappy Bear character has now flown the nest and is out in the world blogging on his own, what can I say, you raise them and they leave you to fend for yourself

So now he’s out there with all his furry friends and blogging to the world on his Slappy Bear’s Blog, he’s also thinking of travelling the world and meeting fellow bloggers for photo opportunities, I know he’s already planning a meet up with @GeneralSarge.

So if you’ve got a bit of spare time on your hands then pop on over and pay Slappy Bear a visit, see what he’s up to and leave a comment, he’s running keywordluv and commentluv, so your comments will be welcome

Now those avid readers of my blog may remember that some time back, bear was looking for a name, well, the voting is over and we now have a name for bear..

1st Place – Slappy chosen by Extreme John with 69.2% of the votes
Joint 2nd Place – Saskia by LadyBanana and Belinda by 70steen both with 15.4%

So there we have it, bear is now officially called “Slappy”
