Now to be honest, I damn well that I have a God awful Broadband Speed and I really do wish that BT could improve it my way. But moaning aside, I’ll get on with post.
If you are a fan of the @TheGadgetShow you will know that they have tried to champion the removal of the “up to” wording that BroadBand supplies use on their adverts etc, they’ve even put a page together with the contact details for all the major ISPs – as well as for OFCOM and the Advertising Standards Authority. It could be time you let you’re ISP know how you feel about the speed you were advertised and the speed you’re actually getting.
So I tried out the BroadBand Speed test that is on The Gadget Show website and wasn’t really surprised by the results which I posted to twitter via the website, as you can see the broadband download speed and broadband upload speed are awful:
So lets all join in the cause for us to try to get the speeds that we deserve and are rightfully paying for by join in with the The Gadget Show and showing these BroadBand ISPs that we are not going to stand for it much longer.
