As a parent I have a load of gifts to buy each Christmas. For me, I have to commute all the way to St. Louis, Missouri to get a good gift and that means facing traffic and crowded stores. While there are people who are early birds in Christmas shopping, it is the last-minute mad dash that is to be concerned about.

No matter where you are in the world, or what holiday you do celebrate in December, your life is more important than buying a present. You might be someone who likes to procrastinate, but it is important to keep your focus on what is important.

Here are some tips to think about in order to drive safely this Christmas:

OK, it’s only October, but a lot of the shops are now starting to fill their shelves with Christmas wrapping and some garden centres are even putting their Christmas grottoes together.

So, is it time to start Christmas shopping now?

Wanted: Santa ClausIt’s not really long to go now and though I am usually guilty of leaving my Christmas shopping right till the last-minute, I thought that this year I should start a little earlier and start now as the shops are now adding the Christmas stuff on their shelves already.

As I’m typing this there is only around 83 days to go until Christmas day, yes I know that sounds a lot, but if you take into consideration, that I’m working during the week, it doesn’t really leave that much time to get out and about to start, leaving the weekend to start getting stocking fillers etc.

So, for me, I am starting my Christmas shopping now and I’m going to be picking things up bit by bit, with stocking fillers here and there, then adding a few major gifts to my shopping lists for family members that deserve that little something special, shhh! Don’t tell them ;)

Are you starting your Christmas Shopping now?

Let us all know, if you plan to start now or leave it a little longer, maybe when the sales start kicking in and you can get a few more gifts for less money, do you even bother with Christmas or do you think it’s a load of old humbug ;)

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Sososher. All opinions are 100% mine.

Now we all know that this time of year is probably going to be the most expensive time of the year, Christmas shopping is going to be taking its toll on our pockets and bank accounts, so it would be nice to maybe get a little back when we do our Christmas shopping!

But with the website Sososher you can do your shopping online and at some of the top known websites, sich as Play.com. Hamleys, Phones 4U, Argos, Debenhams, Disney Resorts and loads more, in fact there are around 2,000 stores, wow, you can even do something called “social shopping” this is where you can add buddies to shop with.

Also if you like a store or an item you have purchased you can add your very own video review on to the website, nothing better than a personal review for people to find out about something.

But, one the site features which really jumped out at me is the Cashback side of the website, you can get your hands on the cashback when you buy items on the websites, here are some of the typical Cashback amounts that you can get:

  • Gifts – receive up to 7.5% cash back
  • Drink – receive up to 5% cash back
  • Electricals – receive up to 8% cash back
  • Food – receive up to 3.5% cash back
  • CDs & DVDs – receive up to 7.5% cash back
  • Toys – receive up to 5% cash back

So imagine the amount you could get back on all that Christmas shopping!

Been a member of Sososher has its benfits with this cashback system. As an example from the press release below explains.

So for example Mrs S Ososher does all her usual shopping at a retailer’s website, Marks & Spencer for example, but instead of going there direct or via a search engine, she logs into her Sososher account and clicks on the Marks & Spencer logo. That way, Mrs S Ososher receives all the added bonuses, including cash back for all of her purchases and access to voucher and discount codes. There are over 2,000 retailers you can shop with spread across 40 different categories, so the chances are that if you are looking to buy something online then you’ll find it on Sososher.

I’ve browsed the website and I do like what I see, there are other reward sites out there, but I think this one does offer the incentive of cashback rather than points, so in time you could get back a tidy little sum from Sososher.
