Well looky here, it’s the beginning of another month, so what happened in July, well for starters it was a busy month. My blog had stacks of comments, views and conversations going on, possibly more than previous months and with the build of new commentators cam the influx of the dreaded spammers that tried to abuse the KeywordLuv and CommentLuv plugins, but we know who you are….
Anyway, as this is the beginning of August and July is now but a fleeting memory, I thought it would be good to bring in a few stats etc just for your enjoyment, so I’m going to start with the mighty list of those that took the time to leave comments that were actually worth their weight in gold

The mighty CommentLuv plugin has now been updated to version 2.80 and it seems faster than the previous versions and also has some nice new features included in the latest incarnation.
Which I will list for you in a moment, but first let me mention the nice surprise I had from Andy from CommentLuv via Twitter, I was reading in my Twitter time line that the new version was listed in the WordPress Plugins Directory, which I have to admit I don’t visit that often, I use the search from within WordPress for updates etc. But, after receiving this tweet from Andy, I had to check it out!
Imagine my surprise and excitement when I saw the second image on the page, were my red headed avatar is in pride of place in a screenshot of how the plugin is displayed.

Now there are a lot of blogs that I visit and the majority of these are now DoFollow (NoFollow Free), so I decided to add a new page to my blog which will enable people to search these blogs and maybe find ones they would like to comment on and maybe subscribe to.
The new Blog Search page is now available, though I have only added a few site to the list of sites that are searchable, so now the call goes out to fellow bloggers that read my blog and those that have commented.
If your blog is NoFollow Free then leave me a comment and I will add your blog to the list in the search engine, so that your site is searchable with the others, hopefully this will help fellow bloggers to find your content and gain you some more hits and readers.
Many thanks to everyone in advance
*UPDATE* I’m now including blogs which use the CommentLuv plugin, so even if your blog is not DoFollow as long as you’re using the plugin you can now get added to the engine.
