As the misheard song states, ‘Waking Up Is Hard To Do’, so we have put together the top 10 songs that are going to help you get out of bed. Some of these songs are loud, others are more fun, but all relate to getting your butt out of bed.

Also, you should recognize that if you need to just wake up without having a song related to mornings, take any track off of a death metal album, and set your volume to max. With this list, we’re going for a little bit more style than just sheer terror!

So in no particular order, here are the ten greatest wake-up songs:

Friends is the most popular long-running sitcom series the world has ever seen. The 6 friends were watched and loved from the minute they came onto our screen in September 1994, until the very last episode 10 years later. The ratings were consistent throughout all 10 series, but there were a number of episodes that stood out in terms of the viewership. Here are the top 10 most viewed episodes in history:

The One with Ross’s Wedding: 31.6M
This episode was filmed on location in London and had cameos from Richard Branson and Jennifer Saunders. Ross marries Emily after a short relationship and says the wrong name at the alter leading to a whole wave of problems for the newlyweds, and Rachel who is still in love with Ross.

The One with Ross’s New Girlfriend: 32.1M
This was the first episode in series 2 and featured Julie, who was Ross’s new girlfriend he met in China. The episode shows the mixed feelings Rachel has for Ross and introduces the 2nd series of the franchise in great style.

The actors of Scifi often attain cult status. Sometimes it’s hard for anyone to think of these actors as anyone other than the famous scifi character they played. Here we will take a look at just a few of our favorite scifi legends.

The most obvious example would be Spock from the original Star Trek played by Leonard Nimoy.

Spock’s mixed human-Vulcan heritage gave him those infamous pointy ears. Now it’s hard to imagine Mr. Nimoy without them. Sure he has had over 50 bit parts in other television shows and movies, and is a director, musician and photographer. But mostly we remember and love him the most as the cool headed Vulcan on Star Trek.

I recently put a post together on here on the nominations for the Razzies of 2011 and I have to say I really did take great pleasure ripping on some of the movies that I have hated over the last year (years in some cases). Well you can imagine my reaction to being told that a follow up post would be appreciated on the Blazing Minds Blog then cant you!? I get to rip on those awful movies all over again, fantastic!

Here are the winners (or losers) of this year’s Razzies.

Worst Picture: The Last Airbender

Surprisingly the winner of this one was The Last Airbender and I have to say I was really disappointed that Twilight didn’t win this as I really do hate the movie franchise; it has just ruined vampires for me! However The Last Airbender was a rubbish film that just didn’t deserve to compete with some of the other bigger movies of last year. A film that relies too heavily on CGI and doesn’t focus on storyline does not deserve to win anything.

Worst Actor- Ashton Kutcher

As a lot of this in opinionated anyway I am prepared to say that I do not think I have seen Ashton in a movie I have liked or will ever admit to saying he is even half decent when it comes to acting. This does seem a little harsh but to be fair he caters more to the romance side of movie making which doesn’t interest me in the slightest.

After watching Ashes to Ashes on the BBC last night and been a fan of the previous show Life on Mars, I thought I would post about what decade people preferred. Ok I know it’s a short post but what the heck, I’m just nosey

A lot of people usually say the 80s for their love of music, but what do you prefer the 70s or 80s?

It seems to be a trend at the moment in Hollywood that they are remaking, or as they like to call it reimagining, films of which some shouldn’t be touched either because they were that bad in the first place and have now got a cult status or they think they can make them better.

Amongst the latest films to fall victim of this Hollywood trend are The Neverending Story and Total Recall, ok so some will disagree with me on this one, but The Neverending Story is a classic with it’s puppetry, yes I know there is a quite a bit missing from the original book, but is that any excuse to remake it, also Total Recall, probably and I say this loosely, Arnie’s best film…

But it doesn’t stop there, oh no, in there money making wisdom announcements have been made for a “reworking” of The Karate Kid staring Jackie Chan, Arthur with Russel Brand and Romancing the Stone.

I could go on, but I think it would be fun for my readers to comment with films tat they have heard are to be ripped off, sorry remade, err no reimagined!!!

This is my call to the Hollywood writers to come out with an original film, yes I know it may be hard to do as most of the original movie well is drying up, but surely someone can come up with something fresh and not re-pulped…
