It’s the same old story! Hunt for the USB for my digital camera, plug it in the computer to download all the photos and then run the camera battery down half way through, or even worse leave the camera for months without uploading the photos on to the computer, so all those wonderful holiday photos from months ago are just sitting and waiting to be uploaded.
Now if I had Eye-Fi SD card then things would be so much easier to upload onto my computer and onto the internet, what’s an Eye-Fi I hear you ask.
It’s an SD card with a difference it’s Wi-Fi enabled, simple use the SD card in your camera to take photos, video etc, the Eye-Fi comes as a 4GB card with will give you a mass of storage and enables you to seamlessly transfer your treasured moments to your computer and favourite web sharing site (like Flickr & Facebook).
Not only will it transfer your information, but, it also backs up your photos and videos onto your computer in to date based folders for easy access, great for finding shots that you took on a certain date.
Also another handy feature is you can share your photos without having your computer turned, crazy I know, all you need is an SDHC capable camera and a wireless router, now how cool is that!
I know that this is a gadget that is certainly going to be in my camera very soon and is going to make photo transfer a lot quicker and easier on my part.
