No related posts.]]> Since the intervention of Google Instant, I have noticed some changes in the stats on my blog, in particular those of long tail keywords.

Google LogoAt one point my search engine stats would show up with single keywords more over any others, but since Google decided to release Google Instant, I have noticed an increase in the bigger search terms.

For example one of the most popular posts here on Blazing Minds is the post about “How To Select All Your Friends On Facebook” since the change the term “how to select all friends on facebook” is the number one source for traffic from Google and the second most popular term is “how to get traffic to your blog“.

Also you will noticed that both these search terms are also the titles of the posts, so maybe that’s good standing for the posts to show up in Google Instant.

Now, I openly admit that I’m no expert on these matters and this is purely just an observation on my part, so I can say if I’m right or wrong.

So what’s your idea of this, is there a change in using long tail keywords compared to just using single word keywords, should we still use both or aim for the long tail ones to improve the positions in the search engines.

Or is it all down to what we have in our post titles, utilising the benefit of having a well-chosen title that people are searching for to grab the attention of the way the new system finds the results it’s looking for.

I have no idea really, as I mentioned earlier, it’s just an observation I’ve made.

But my favourite method is by using a handy Facebook Invite All Chrome extension that is also mentioned on the post, which is the perfect way of having the option to “toggle all” your FaceBook friends ;)

This post is an updated version of the original, I’ve updated it to now include a FaceBook Friend Select Bookmarklet to make it easier for you to use..

There comes a time when we all want to select all our friends on Facebook for some reason or another either to invite then to a page, group or something else and if you have loads of friends, it can take forever to click each one to select them, so, if you do want to select all your friends in FaceBook in one go then follow these simple instructions to set you on your way.

  1. Drag this to your browser toolbar to get you started. FaceBook Friend Select
  2. When you are on your Event, Group or page and click “Invite People”.
  3. When the desired page has loaded you will see a list of your friends, but there is no way of selecting all your friends to get invites.
  4. Simply click on the FaceBook Friend Select Bookmarklet and after a few seconds, depending on how many friends you have, they will all be selected..
  5. Now you should see that all your friends have been selected, if they haven’t and only a few have, then this usually means that you can only add x amount of friends at a time.
