Now those of you who read my blog, now about my gorgeous little red Mini Cooper, and how much I love it, what can I say it’s my pride and joy and it was a present for my *cough*th birthday

The only thing that annoys me is that with the Mini you don’t get a spare tyre, just a tyre welding kit in the bottom of the boot, just in case you do get a flat!

Yesterday, I had my very first puncture, the first puncture in all the years I’ve driven, so it was bound to happen sooner or later. I pulled into my friends drive and popped in the house, when I came back out I could hear a slight hissing noise and on closer inspection, found that the front tyre had a slow puncture.

So, in an effort to get some help, I rang my Mini service and was told to get it to the nearest tyre service to have it repaired, luckily it was slow puncture, so I managed to get to the tyre garage to get it sorted.

But, unluckily for me, the puncture, a tiny little whole, was in the wrong place to be repaired, so I had to buy a new tyre.

So now after £58 I’ve got three Michelin tyres an a Pirelli tyre, couldn’t get a matching tyre, poodoo!!!

Now a quick message to BMW Mini, redesign the Mini in a way that a spare tyre is “standard” fixture not an optional etc, that way, it would be a lot easier than having the silly tyre welding kit in the boot

Those of you who have been reading my blog will of seen yesterday my post about the mindless idiots that threw paint of my gorgeous little Mini Cooper.

After hours of tears and working to remove the paint from the paint work, we finally manage to remove it, but it had soaked in to all the black plastic trims that are around the Mini.

Dis-hearted,  I made my way up to Halliwell Jones in Llandudno to see what they could do, sadly BMW said it would have to be all new trims etc., which would cost me an absolute fortune, that’s until Darbey Valeting stepped in and had a quick test on the worst affected trim.

Those of you who have been following me on Twitter, will have seen a couple of weeks ago, me tweeting about some careless git who had caught the trim on my new Mini Cooper, suffice to say I was extremely upset!!!

I wouldn’t have minded if whoever had done it, had left a note on the windscreen saying, “I’m so sorry, I caught your car, here’s my number to contact me”, but no, not a thing and thanks to this, I’m not going to swear, person it has just cost me £83.92 to have the part replaced and fitted, I mean come on, I’m not made of money in the first place and this is a major chunk out of my weeks wages to have this done.

I’ve only had my Mini Cooper since September/October last year and have clocked up 2,250 miles, ok it doesn’t sound much, but when you start of with nothing on it at all, it seems a massive amount

A bit of a personal post today, makes a change, I been posting reviews, seo and other informative posts recently, so I though today I would post something a bit out of context!

On the off chance and a day of work today, I decided to pop to the garage in Llandudno to pay the balance off my new Mini Cooper

Everything is nearly in place, Monday the 12th I’m going to pick up my lovely brand new car, I can’t wait, it’ll be nice to drive around in a car that doesn’t stall every time I get to a junction, a back wiper that works, a rear view mirror that doesn’t keep falling of the windscreen and a window that actually goes up and down properly.
