If you have read Blazing Minds for a while you may have seen the review I did some time back for Final Destination 4, last night I got to see the latest movie in the franchise and in glorious eye-popping 3D, those who’ve seen it will know what I mean
So What’s Going On In Final Destination 5?
Final Destination 5 like the other ones in the serious starts off with everything going well and then going extremely bad with nearly everyone being killed, then quickly jumping back to show us that it’s all the premonition of one person.
This time it’s the turn of bus full of people on a suspension bridge which collapses and only a few get off before the bridge crashes down.
Then we know what happens next, each one is slowly hunted down by death and ticked of the list in some gruesome way or another.

While surfing the net recently I came across a few trailers of some movies that will be hitting the big screens in 2011 and from what I’ve seen of the trailers they do look pretty good and some of them are even in 3D, awesome.
I love going to the cinema and the experience of watching a movie in 3D is amazing, if it’s done right and not too much in your face, excuse the pun! Now I’m only listing 3 films here in this list, but I could go on for a while, there seems to be some really good-looking films coming out next year.
Anyway I’m going to stop rambling on now and get on with it.
Find out which movies I’ve chosen and watch the trailers

It seems to be a trend at the moment in Hollywood that they are remaking, or as they like to call it reimagining, films of which some shouldn’t be touched either because they were that bad in the first place and have now got a cult status or they think they can make them better.
Amongst the latest films to fall victim of this Hollywood trend are The Neverending Story and Total Recall, ok so some will disagree with me on this one, but The Neverending Story is a classic with it’s puppetry, yes I know there is a quite a bit missing from the original book, but is that any excuse to remake it, also Total Recall, probably and I say this loosely, Arnie’s best film…
But it doesn’t stop there, oh no, in there money making wisdom announcements have been made for a “reworking” of The Karate Kid staring Jackie Chan, Arthur with Russel Brand and Romancing the Stone.
I could go on, but I think it would be fun for my readers to comment with films tat they have heard are to be ripped off, sorry remade, err no reimagined!!!
This is my call to the Hollywood writers to come out with an original film, yes I know it may be hard to do as most of the original movie well is drying up, but surely someone can come up with something fresh and not re-pulped…
