Indie Artist Elza Mueller-Roemer Isn’t Just Another Pretty Voice.
This is a guest post by Lauren Salkin
Every time Elza takes the stage, she channels the music of her South Carolina roots in her songs, a mix of blues, jazz, and folk-rock she likes to call “Acoustic Soul.” Her voice, a disarming combination of strength and vulnerability, has elicited comparisons to Joni Mitchell and Bonnie Raitt. “ . . . A voice that is unmistakable.” — The Acoustic Radio Sampler.
“ . . . You’d have to hear it to believe it. Live, she’s the second coming of Joni.” — Don Menn, founder of Guitar Magazine.

So there I was watching the TV late last night when up popped the news that Michael Jackson was dead! Could this be right or was it another celebrity hoax, sadly no, Michael Jackson had indeed died.

Those that follow my Twitter will have noticed that I was tweeting updates as they came in and my last tweet was this picture and “LA coroner confirms “king of pop” Michael Jackson dead at the age of 50 from cardiac arrest.”
It all seemed to break into a frenzy when entertainment website TMZ announced on its website “Michael Jackson has been rushed to hospital” and then shortly after another announcement that would shock the world and also send the Twitter community into an online barrage of Michael Jackson tweets, “Michael Jackson has Died“.
I have never been a fan of Michael Jackson, but he was a talented artist and through all his problems and controversy, he is known by everyone and will be sadly missed by his mass of fans and those in the music industry that have admired his music.

Twitter has been mentioned a lot lately, it was mentioned in conversation on “Friday Night with Jonathan Ross” between Stephen Fry and Jonathan Ross, then on Richard & Judy on Watch, and today it was on GMTV with Lorraine Kelly.
So why the sudden interest, maybe it’s that celebrities are using Twitter themselves, or are they?
I myself follow Stephen Fry, Jonathan Ross and Philip Schofield to name but three
But the debate has always been are these real celebrities, some impersonating them or their own PR manager tweeting for them….
I think it’s just a case of making up your own mind as to whether or not they are legitimate..
Anyway here’s a few that I follow if you know any more then let us all know
Kate Hewlett – Sister to David Hewlett (Rodney in Stargate Atlantis)
Stephen Fry – Master of the spoken word and presenter of QI
Jonathan Ross – TV chat show host etc
Imogen Heap – Musician
So are they the real celebrities, who knows? Who cares? It’s all a bit of fun at the end of the day!!
